Our fee, in plain numbers
The fare you pay is the airline's own published fare. On top of it there is one flat Farehaven service fee per traveler, shown on its own line before you pay. That's all we charge.
| Cabin | Round trip | One way |
|---|---|---|
| Economy | $39 per traveler | $29 per traveler |
| Premium economy | $59 per traveler | $45 per traveler |
| Business and first | $89 per traveler | $69 per traveler |
| Hotels | No fee | |
| Changes and cancellations | No Farehaven fee (the airline's fare rules apply) | |
| Bags, seats and upgrades added later | Airline price, no Farehaven fee | |
What the fee pays for
- 24/7 phone, email and text support from advisors in New York and Lisbon
- Proactive rebooking when the airline cancels or retimes your flight
- Price-drop protection until 72 hours before departure
- Help with refunds and compensation claims against the airline
When we refund our fee
- You cancel within 24 hours of booking and the flight is 7+ days away
- The airline cancels or significantly changes your flight and you choose a refund
- We made a mistake
Why charge a fee at all?
Most large sites don't charge a booking fee on flights, because they earn their money on hotels and add-ons. We'd rather show you what our service costs and keep the support. Read the long version.
Fees as of October 8, 2026. Payment is taken in US dollars. Airline fares may be charged by the airline directly and our fee separately, so you may see two lines on your card statement.
