Price-drop protection
Included on every flight you book with us. Nothing to buy, nothing to claim.
1. We watch
Every day until 72 hours before departure, we check the price of the same fare family on your exact flights.
2. It drops
If the price falls by $10 or more per traveler, we act on it. You don't have to notice.
3. You get the difference
Where the fare can be changed without a fee (standard and main-cabin fares on most US airlines), we rebook you into the cheaper fare and refund the difference to your card. Where it can't (basic economy and some other fares), we pay the drop as Farehaven credit, up to $150 per traveler in economy and premium economy and $400 in business.
An example
A traveler booked United Economy, Newark–Heathrow, at $1,018.40 including our fee. Nineteen days later the same fare on the same flights was $956.10. We rebooked the ticket the same morning and refunded $62.30 to the card used to pay. Across all bookings since July, the average refund has been $61.
The fine print
- Same flights, same fare family, same number of travelers.
- Applies to fares booked with Farehaven, until 72 hours before the first flight.
- Credit is valid for 24 months on any Farehaven flight or hotel.
- If you've already changed the booking yourself, the protection carries over to the new flights.
