★★★★★ Someone called me before the airline did

Megan T., Park Slope, Brooklyn · JFK–LHR, economy · October 2, 2026

My evening flight to Heathrow was cancelled around 4 pm. Before I had even seen the airline app, Farehaven texted me two options: the same airline the next morning, or a Virgin flight that night with a seat already held. I picked Virgin, they confirmed it while I was in the cab. No hold music, no chatbot.

★★★★★ Got money back I never asked for

Arjun P., Jersey City, NJ · EWR–LHR, economy · September 25, 2026

Booked United economy for a work trip. Three weeks later I got an email: the fare on my exact flights had dropped by $62, they had rebooked me into the cheaper fare and refunded the difference to my card. I didn't even know that was a thing.

★★★★☆ Worth the fee when you fly for work

Leah M., Upper West Side, Manhattan · JFK–LHR, business · September 19, 2026

I fly to London six or seven times a year. The fee is shown up front and the receipts are clean for expenses (fare, taxes and fee on separate lines). One star off only because the website only does New York–London so far; anything else is by email. The advisors are great though.

★★★★★ Booked my parents by phone

Carlos R., Astoria, Queens · JFK–LHR, premium economy · September 11, 2026

My parents are in their seventies and wanted premium economy with an aisle and wheelchair assistance at Heathrow. Aisha set everything up on one call, put my mother on the phone to confirm the names, and sent me the itinerary. On the day the assistance was there at the gate.

★★★☆☆ Good people, not many routes online yet

Josh K., Hoboken, NJ · Paris by email · September 4, 2026

I wanted New York to Paris and the site only searches London. I emailed and got a quote in about 40 minutes, which was fine, but I'd rather click.

Farehaven replied: Thanks Josh, fair point. Paris, Dublin and Lisbon are coming to online search next; until then advisors book them at the same fee. — Rosa, Traveler Care

★★★★★ They talked me out of basic economy

Simone A., Harlem, Manhattan · JFK–LHR, economy · August 28, 2026

I was about to book the cheapest fare and the advisor asked if I was checking a bag. I was. The standard fare with the bag included was cheaper than basic plus two bag fees, and I could choose my seat. Small thing, but nobody else ever asked.

★★★★★ Our studio moved all travel here

Ben W., Dumbo, Brooklyn · Teams account · August 21, 2026

I'm the office manager for a 14-person design studio. We used to book on whatever site was open, and nobody knew who was where. Now everything goes through one Teams account, the policy is built in, finance gets one invoice a month, and our people call the same number when things go wrong.

★★☆☆☆ Payment link came late

Daniel S., Long Island City, Queens · EWR–LHR, economy · August 12, 2026

The hold worked, but I booked at 11 pm and the payment link only arrived the next morning. The price was the same, but I was nervous all night.

Farehaven replied: Daniel, sorry about that. Overnight requests were being confirmed by the morning team; since August our Lisbon team confirms them around the clock, and the hold page now says when to expect the link. — Rosa, Traveler Care

★★★★★ Missed connection, sorted in ten minutes

Priyanka N., Murray Hill, Manhattan · JFK–DUB–LHR, economy · August 3, 2026

My Dublin flight landed late and I missed the hop to Heathrow. I called from the gate, the advisor already had me on the next flight and had moved my bag. I was in London 90 minutes later than planned.

★★★★★ Honest about the cheaper option

Tom H., Fort Greene, Brooklyn · JFK–KEF–LGW, economy · July 22, 2026

I asked for a Heathrow nonstop and the advisor mentioned that Icelandair via Reykjavík into Gatwick was a lot cheaper for my dates, and closer to where I was staying in south London. They didn't have to tell me that.

★★★★☆ Smooth, and they found me a better seat

Grace L., Tribeca, Manhattan · JFK–LHR, business · July 5, 2026

Booked Club with British Airways. The advisor noticed the seat map had a better seat open up two days before departure and moved me. Would have been five stars if the hotel add-on had more boutique options.

★★★★★ The hotel perks were real

Marcus O., Williamsburg, Brooklyn · JFK–LHR + hotel · June 18, 2026

Added a hotel through them for a week in the City. Breakfast was included and they had arranged an early check-in after the overnight flight, which made the first day human. Same price as booking the hotel directly.
